Community Clinical Group Coordinator

Non-union; Exempt

Full-time; Mon.-Fri.


Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Science, licensure required (LCSW); experience providing assessments, individual and group therapy, discharge planning, and referral services to adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders; substance abuse and co-occurring disorders experience preferred; bi-lingual preferred; CPR/First Aid certified or eligible.


The Community Clinical Group Coordinator provides psycho-educational, skills-based, psychotherapeutic, and social groups to individuals receiving support within community programs. In addition to facilitating group sessions, other duties include but are not limited to collaboration and consultation with other members of the multidisciplinary team, assessment of new clients, providing individual support to patients on an as-needed basis, and create/provide input on policies. Outside of direct client care, the position is also responsible for administrative and organizational tasks, including but not limited to timely and satisfactory documentation, participation in various committees dedicated to improving client care, and ordering materials for use in groups. This position will also be actively training team members with a focus on treatment diagnosis, best practice, evidence based models, interventions for community team members to utilize, and other pertinent topics to the population served. The position will be integrated closely within programs and collaborate with coordinators and directors to ensure topics and groups are relevant to needs of the population.
